Recently Prof. Dr. Jorge Alió, Director of UMH Clinical Methodology in Refractive, Cataract and Corneal Surgery Course, has signed a collaboration agreement with Adis Rapid+ journal Ophthalmology and Therapy. This agreement offers students the opportunity to publish their final course project in a journal of high international prestige at no cost if the report successfully passes the peer review process.
Ophthalmology and Therapy is an international, open access and peer-reviewed journal. The journal publishes high-quality research around the discovery, development, and use of ophthalmological therapies, devices, and surgical techniques. Articles are peer reviewed in 2 weeks and published in approximately 3-4 weeks from acceptance. Moreover, the journal has the added value that it is indexed in PubMed, PubMed Central, and Google Scholar.
The three most topical and well-written papers redacted by the students of UMH Clinical Methodology in Refractive, Cataract and Corneal Surgery Course, will be revised by the director of the course Jorge Alió, and then submitted to Ophthalmology and Therapy. The chosen papers will be published, fully open access if the manuscripts are accepted following the peer review process. There will be no fees associated with this publication.
